In March 2026, Nalaquq is providing logistics support for Alaska Division of Forestry & Fire Protection wildland fire and Qanirtuuq, Inc. “red card” basic and recertification training in Quinhagak. This week-long course, held March 1–8, 2026, helps local responders access nationally recognized wildland fire qualifications close to home.
