With sponsorship from Qanirtuuq, Inc., American Seafoods, AVCP Tribal Workforce Development, and Coastal Village Region Fund; Nalaquq, LLC along with YKHC EMS and Behavioral Health; successfully completed Search & Rescue (SAR) Training with Quinhagak, Eek, and Goodnews Bay SAR volunteers. Participants received CPR training, learned how to use drones, and discussed as a team how to standardize emergency protocols and procedures. If there are any SAR grants available, let us know. Also, SAR volunteers will accept any monetary, equipment or material donations. Quyana! We are hoping to do more community-based training with our communities in the future.
